One participant especially enjoyed Francis’ assurance to all of us that “[W]e are mothers when we carry him in our heart and body through a divine love and a pure and sincere conscience and give birth to [Jesus] through a holy activity which must shine as an example before others”.
This is the imagery which came to this man 800 years ago. What do you think of this image? I find it a bit challenging and radical, but want to spend some time thinking about it since they are Francis’ own words.
